I was dreading the day Braylea got her first cold..and it is here. Dad has been sick all weekend with the bad cold and high fever. We tried to avoid the house as much as possible but don't know if we succeeded. I also took her for her first walk yesterday(she loved finally seeing the outdoors!) and don't know if the outside air got to her even though I had her pretty well covered. I guess you can't protect them from everything, so I can't seclude her just because I am afraid she will catch something. Right now she is just clogged up in the nose, not running yet and couching and sneezing just here and there. I pray that is all it does! I feel so bad when she tries to eat because she can't breathe very well from her nose..poor baby girl. She was all smiles this morning, so she doesn't feel bad. I hated leaving her to go to work even though she is in good hands.
We had a tough week last week trying to dodge the virus going around. Mallory, Braylea's cousin, was sick with the fever and cold most of last week so Braylea stayed home with Dad every morning and then my aunt came out in the afternoons which worked out but I'm glad she is healthy again and we can go back to our routine.
