What is new with Miss B?
-I haven't said much more about teething from when I mentioned it a few months ago..it must have been a false alarm or she is just going through the process very, very slow and just started real early. We think the process is speeding up now. The drooling is excessive, she sucks on her bottom lip like crazy, she chews on anything she can get in her mouth, and tonight she had a terrible crying fit and it wasn't an 'I'm hungry cry' or an 'I'm tired cry', it was a painful cry and I did NOT like it! I hate having no control of taking the pain away. The teething gel does help some but not always..
-Braylea is very close in being able to sit up without support. If she would just sit still for one second, it may be possible! She is always on the go..when walking comes, I have a feeling it will be scary.
-I have noticed that Braylea definitely has a different look when she recognizes a familiar face. For new faces, it takes awhile for her to warm up to them and give them a good smile. She normally just stares them down.
-She notices when I walk out of the room. I hate the fact that she is at this stage because I feel bad for leaving even more now, but love it all at the same time because she definitely knows that I'm her momma!
-She is starting to blab more and more and making different sounds.
-I've never noted this on here but we have had Braylea in our bed since she came home. We tried to get her to sleep in a crib in our room for awhile and she would scream(and never let it go) so we gave in because we were so exhausted. It just then became natural; so easy to nurse her in bed when she wakes in the night and always knowing she was alright. We finally decided it was time to try to make a change. For the past few weeks we have been starting her out in her crib..it is a very gradual change but we are working on it. Sometimes I regret what we did, but other times I feel like it was a great bond.
-For the past two weeks, Braylea has been waking up every two hours on the dot and she wants to eat. I'm hoping we are just going through a growth spurt and she will grow out of it because it is wearing me out! I've debated on supplementing formula just at night to make sure she gets enough on her tummy to sleep longer, but I haven't talked myself into it yet. I feel like it is too soon and just need to let this phase pass.
All in all, she is a very happy, sweet, healthy baby girl that is loved so much by her mommy and daddy! We enjoy every day watching her grow.
If you have seen Braylea in person, you would have noticed that she has rubbed off the back and sides of her hair; therefore, she has most of her hair on the top..just a strip of hair and looks like a mohawk. Needless to say, I'm ready for her to be able to sit up on her own so she can stay off of her hair to let it have time to grow back! This picture was taken after my cousin used a little clip to just put the strip of hair up on top of her head. It was pretty humorous!

Thanks to my cousin, Jamie, she bought Braylea this shirt that says 'drama queen' on it. It totally explains this lil girl..and I'm blaming it on her AUNT! :)
