My Lil Monkey..

Well..I had a little scare last night. The normal routine is to give Braylea a bottle and rock her to sleep and off to her crib she goes. Last night didn't go as planned. Braylea refused to relax and go to sleep..that girl has too much energy! Ever since she started crawling, she just acts so free, full of even more energy(if possible) and just really happy in general. Well, it was creeping on 10:30 last night and I was worn out from chasing her around and ready for bed..so I just put her in her crib and turned the mobile on and left. She was playing and squealing. I heard the mobile stop and figured I would hear whining..I heard nothing. I thought, wow, she put herself to sleep fast! Well, shortly after that the intercom went static and then I heard a loud BOOM and it went quiet. My heart dropped..I thought surely she can't climb out of the crib, but the worst was definitely in my head. I walked in her room and noticed it was the intercom that made the loud noise but couldn't figure out how it fell. I walked up closer to the crib and there I was met with those big blue eyes and a big smile. She had figured out that she could get up on her knees and look over the crib and was pretty pleased about the whole ordeal..but Mommy was not. Needless to say, Bryson lowered the crib today. We will see how that turns out tonight!
