I honestly can't believe that I have been a mother for 4 months now. I always heard that life flies by when you have a kid and I really believe it now. Every minute of it has been great. Watching someone become their own person after growing for 9 months inside me just seems surreal.
This past weekend Braylea had several 'firsts'. We went to Tulsa for a church conference. She was an amazing baby sitting through an evening and an all day conference involving singing and speaking.
So her 'firsts' involved:
-first elevator ride
-first hotel stay
-first celebrity contact..we stayed in the same hotel as REBA MCENTIRE!!!
-first conference
-first concert..Mandisa(American Idol Season 5 finalist) she was at the conference to perform
-first video..Mandisa shot a video for a new song while we were there just 3 rows back!

Yea! I was hoping one day people could tell that I actually had a part in her too! :)
