Our CRUISE!!!

So, I did it.  I left my baby for a whole week.  I'm glad I got away with my husband but we both missed Braylea terribly and cannot wait until we get to have family vacations!

We left on the wrong foot because I set the alarm inaccurately and Bryson woke me up 2 hours late in a panic.  We woke up at 4:20 and supposed to leave from Kansas City a little before 7:30..ouch.  Let's just say, we flew there and made it just as the plane was boarding.  Talk about an adrenaline rush!  We boarded our ship Saturday afternoon in Miam, FL.  The ship is bigger than I would have ever imagined..

I'm so glad our travel agent talked us into an oceanview room..This was taken from it and we would have been lost without it!

My love found below..sunshine, pools, lawnchairs, relaxation.  We saw this scenerie quite often, I must say.

We were in bed by probably by 8 Saturday night.  Yes, we are old but a whole day of flying, going through the dreadful safety training and getting settled in with knowing how to get around the boat just plain wore us out!

Sunday we spent the day at sea.  Relaxing was great.  We layed out for awhile, I went to the spa that afternoon, and we enjoyed a show that evening.  Having no schedule was pretty neat for a change. 

I always heard that cruises are know for their food.  Well, I agree!  I worked so hard to get back into a swimsuit for this trip and then ruined the hard work because I couldn't resist the food once onboard.  You could eat at any time of the day.  Buffet style, formal style, 24 hour pizza/ice cream..it was ridiculous.  If only the alcoholic drinks were all inclusive, we would have been set!  That is definitely where they get you.  $5-$6 beers and $9-$10 mixed drinks..wow!

And..Monday we woke up to this scenerie.  Hello Jamaica!!
