Swimming Lessons

My mom took my brother and I to swimming lessons early and I wanted to do the same to get Braylea used to the water and to know the techniques of swimming.  Mom had to drive to McCune everyday for two weeks and I would have done the same to have Karen teach my daughter, but I lucked out!  Since the CORE at the hospital opened, she teaches all lessons there AND it is inside, so rain or shine, we are there!

Just went under!

Doggy paddling and making sure Gma and Aunt Lauren were watching her.  She is so funny..when someone comes to watch her, she has to make sure they are watching every move so once she does something, she will look at them and start clapping for herself until they clap for her too.  It is hilarious..she is definitely a character!

The submarine..

We have three more days to go and I have seen great improvement from Bray.  She isn't scared of the instructor anymore or to go under.  She also understands when she is going under and holds her breath real well.  It is amazing the things kids can absorb at such a young age. I think it was well worth going every evening for the experience!
